Snedeker: 'Really cool feeling' to join exclusive 59 club on PGA Tour

Brandt Snedeker became just the ninth player in history to break 60 on the PGA Tour with his 59 on Thursday at the Wyndham Championship, and he certainly recognized the stakes while standing on the final green. "I was very aware of what was going on and to knock that putt in was really special," Snedeker said in his press conference after the historic round. "To know that I'm a part of a small club on Tour, not very many people have done this - really cool feeling right now." The 37-year-old Nashville native can even lay claim to a unique milestone within the 59 club, as he's the only golfer to break 60 despite being over par at some point during the round. Snedeker bogeyed his first hole Thursday and was 1-over after three at Sedgefield Country Club. However, after holing out for eagle on the par-4 sixth and then sticking his approach on the following hole, Snedeker knew 59 was in striking distance.
