Feyenoord Rotterdam will continue their preseason in Switzerland as they take on FC Basel. It was not a good start to the preseason for the Dutch outfit as they were beaten comfortably by 3 goals in the game they played against Young Boys. While these results are not important, it is not a good sign when a team is losing by 3 goals. The manager and the players at Feyenoord Rotterdam will be well aware of this and they will look to put up a much better performance against FC Basel.
Not many of the top players played for Feyenoord Rotterdam with the likes Robin Van Persie not making the team. It is unclear whether there will be much change heading into this game but I will not be surprised if the Dutch outfit plays the same players. It is important to give most players a chance to play in preseason and while many of these players are not going to make the first team, it will be a good chance for the manager to see what he has at his disposal.
