Report: Brayden Schenn drawing interest as trade deadline approaches

The St. Louis Blues certainly haven't had the season they expected, and even if they win Thursday night's game against the Montreal Canadiens (which they led 3-1 at the time of this writing) are still down another man. Robert Thomas left the game with an apparent shoulder injury and will not return. While that may not end up being anything serious, it's just another frustrating development in a season full of them. Report: Blues' Schenn drawing interest around the league

St. Louis Blues forward Brayden Schenn is drawing trade interest around the league, TSN's Pierre LeBrun said on Thursday's edition of " Insider Trading ." The underachieving Blues are in "full listening mode," according to LeBrun, including in conversations concerning the team's core players. Schenn would be more than just a rental if he's moved before the Feb. 25 trade deadline; he's signed through next season at a $5.125-million cap hit.
