Beating the odds in Vegas: Former Winnipegger's bets on Jets, Golden Knights may just pay off

During the first week of October, Shannon Yelland placed a $20 US bet on the Vegas Golden Knights winning the 2018 Stanley Cup. Out of loyalty to her hometown, she also placed a $20 US bet on the Winnipeg Jets doing the same. She now stands a good chance of winning $1,200 to $4,000.
