Watch: Colts' Denico Autry hit with penalty after seemingly taunting ref

9 days ago   |   By Yardbarker

It wouldn't be an NFL game without a dumb penalty. During Saturday's divisional-round game between the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs, Colts lineman Denico Autry did just that, double-pumping right in front of an official. The worst part about this is that the Colts had just stopped the Chiefs on a fourth-down sack that would have put them close to midfield. Thanks to the 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, they were bumped back and started at their own 27-yard line. In a game that's pretty much gone completely in favor of the Chiefs, the Colts can't afford to keep shooting...

Fans react to Colts player's hilarious unsportsmanlike penalty

9 days ago   |   By Yardbarker

It was not a good day for the Indianapolis Colts in Kansas City on Saturday, but Denico Autry ensured that he wouldn't be forgotten. Autry and the Colts managed to stop the Chiefs on a fourth-down attempt and get off the field, giving themselves solid field position at their own 38. There was just one problem: Autry was hit with a 15-yard penalty for, essentially, walking up to the referee and gyrating. Twitter loved it immediately. At least there weren't too many pumps, though it would be hilarious if Autry gets fined for that.

Fans freak out over Patrick Mahomes' knee injury

9 days ago   |   By Yardbarker

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs took it to the Indianapolis Colts early in their playoff game on Saturday - leading 17-0 less than halfway through the second quarter. Kansas City's domination included this brilliant touchdown run from Tyreek Hill. In the midst of an early blowout, Mahomes suffered a minor knee injury on a near-sack by Colts pass-rusher Jabaal Sheard. While the MVP candidate returned on Kansas City's next possession, fans watching the game were in freak-out mode. We're not even kidding.

Watch: Patrick Mahomes dives into end zone for first playoff TD

9 days ago   |   By Yardbarker

After seeing the Indianapolis Colts claw back into the game with a special teams touchdown, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes quickly answered to take momentum and a 17-point lead back. Mahomes led a 10-play, 75-yard drive rather quickly, and after his rocket arm did most of the work, the star quarterback used his legs this time. After seeing nothing open in the end zone, Mahomes rolled out of the pocket, used a pump fake to make a defender hesitate then dove into the end zone to give Kansas City a three-score lead. Watch: Colts claw back into game with blocked-punt TD

9 days ago   |   By Yardbarker

Down by 17 points early in the second quarter, the Indianapolis Colts got a humongous play from their special teams with a blocked-punt touchdown. Najee Goode got his hands on the ball, and it was scooped up by Zach Pascal who made a tremendous play to get his hands on the ball in the end zone. This incredibly timely score gave the Colts some life for the first time in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and with the extra point they were down 17-7.
