Harrison swings helmet at Hernandez as Giants practice gets heated

4 monthes ago   |   By TheScore

The New York Giants finished minicamp Thursday with a fight, as defensive tackle Damon Harrison and rookie guard Will Hernandez got into a scuffle that led to an injury scare for left tackle Nate Solder. It's unclear what sparked the incident, but at one point Harrison swung Hernandez's helmet at the rookie's head, fortunately missing his target. Shurmur unhappy with ugly brawl on last day of minicamp

4 monthes ago   |   By Yardbarker

An ugly scuffle between Damon Harrison and Will Hernandez disrupted the final practice of New York Giants' minicamp on Thursday. Making matters worse is there appears to be some slight collateral damage involving high-priced free agent acquisition Nate Solder. Reports from practice indicate tempers flared, to put it mildly, after Hernandez's helmet came off during the dust-up. Harrison, who already has been making headlines this week for other reasons, then swung the helmet at Hernadez's head before Hernandez stood up and started throwing haymakers at Harrison. Solder, who signed a...
