Former NBA player Boris Diaw joins the French Marines

4 monthes ago   |   By Yardbarke

Boris Diaw played 14 somewhat unassuming seasons in the NBA with a total of five clubs. Considered a top-notch defender, he won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs and was a widely respected player during his time.None of this compares to Diaw's most recent post-NBA venture. How much longer will Gregg Popovich coach the San Antonio Spurs?

4 monthes ago   |   By Yahoo Sports

It's weird to picture the San Antonio Spurs sideline with anyone other than Gregg Popovich patrolling it. While he has trained more than one capable replacement (Popovich's NBA coaching tree is in full bloom around the league), it still would just feel odd. Since the Spurs won a fifth NBA championship in 2014, Buford has had to be prepared for the possibility of Popovich, 69, coaching a final season and moving onto NBA retirement.
