12:47pm: The Indians have worked out an extension with veteran righty Carlos Carrasco , according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. He'll now be under contract in Cleveland through at least the 2022 campaign.
Financial terms are not yet known, but Rosenthal has the structure of the arrangement. In addition to carrying Carrasco's already-exercised 2019 option, the Indians will guarantee the $10.25MM club option included in his former contract for the 2020 campaign.
