Kings star De'Aaron Fox out up to a month with ankle injury

The injury hits keep on coming for the Sacramento Kings. With Marvin Bagley III already sidelined, fellow youngster De'Aaron Fox will now join him on the bench. Fox suffered a sprained ankle during practice on Monday and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks. That's certainly not what the struggling Kings need at this point in the season. They enter this week's action at 3-6 and have been dealt injury blow after injury blow. Fox, 21, is averaging 18.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists on the season.

The Sacramento Kings will be without De'Aaron Fox for three-to-four weeks, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The third-year guard sprained his left ankle in a team practice.
The loss of Fox will come as a crushing blow for a team that's struggled out of the gates, already down a man in sophomore Marvin Bagley. Fox will be re-evaluated in a month.
Through nine games so far this season, Fox has averaged 18.2 points and 7.0 assists per game.

The Sacramento Kings were dealt another injury blow Monday. Point guard De'Aaron Fox suffered an ankle sprain during practice, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe. The Kings' medical staff is performing tests to determine the severity of the sprain and if Fox will miss time, Lowe adds. Fox has averaged a team-high 18.2 points and seven assists through nine games, though he's connected on just 43% of his 14.2 field-goal attempts per contest.
